Why when I try to erase some part of a line lt becomes a closed shape?

When I draw a line and try to erase some part of it it becomes a weird closed shape. Please Help

Hi @Xanturium, honestly I don’t know what is the real advantage about eraser tool. - however it is used on the shapes for your issue I advice you to use the scissors tool . You should take a look to the Eraser Tool - Learning Hub
