Copying something from one file A to file B crashes the app

In the recent update, when I try to copy a layer or an object from file A, go back home, and try to paste it in file B, the app crashes. My work around has been to take my artwork from file A and turn it into a PNG and add it to file B. This has been consistently happening.

iPad 12.9 (M2 chip)
iOS 16.5
Vectornator app version 4.13.6

Also, what if you select another artboard and paste only after? Or what if you paste the object into the same file?
