To recreate:
On iPad or on iPhone try to screen share to appleTV or plug in HDMI cable out.
As of last update/rebrand tool will not display the canvas on the display screen.
Unable to make tutorials or demonstrate how to use the app at conferences/etc.

Edit: additional details
2nd video output is a total separate UI display than the main iPad screen. It looks like they tried to add dual monitor support, but then that breaks iPad interaction. Scrolling, selection and highlighted menus are different and UI is rendered differently between iPad view and 2nd display view.
Has anyone had success using a iMac or OSX to display?
