Tapping with Apple Pencil too quickly deselects

This only appeared in the last few versions so something has changed that if I’m drawing with the Pen Tool with my Apple Pencil on the iPad and I draw fast, say tapping 4 corners of a square quickly it will deselect / think I’m trying to exit out of drawing mode.

This is obviously not ideal!

Would you mind confirming your OS and Vectornator version?

If you happen to capture this via screen recording, that would also be extremely helpful. In the meantime, we’ll continue trying to reproduce this from our side and get back to you.

Vectornator 4.13.7 on iPad 12.9" 2018 running 16.5.1. You should see in this quick video it doesn’t seem to happen ALL the time but drawing that first blue shape it deselects during, and the yellow shape at the end, causing me to have to stop drawing, select it, switch back to Pen tool and complete the shape.
