Hi everyone , new to the group. I view the tutorials but I have a simple but using the union in booleans I didn’t succeed , I am trying to make a one piece cut, can anyone could give me a tutorial the correct way to join the parts bicycle and external ring?

There are a few options in terms of disconnecting and joining paths, here’s a brief demo showcasing how to add extra nodes (for improved control), remove parts of the path using the Scissors Tool, and join the paths together:
Of course, after connecting the paths, it’s possible to go in with the Node Tool and make any desired tweaks or edits.
