Hi, I just want to create a design with the shape builder tool. And I’m stuck because seem I can’t do it with just the line tool. Is this really a bug, or is there really no feature like this in Curve?
If I have to use a rectangle, then the cons
is that when the rectangle is tilted it can’t go well with the grid.

For shape builder to work on lines, you actually need to turn them to outlines first. If you select them, there’s an option for it down in the style menu. It looks like a rectangular marquee tool.
