Simple files in iPad Vectornator when exported as .ai and opened in Ai on the desktop have different number of layer groups, clipping groups created when there weren’t there before, shapes grouped together when they were originally in separate ones and more.
I have to spend considerable time rebuilding and reorganising the layer structure in Ai before saving and sharing with clients.
Is it not possible for the Ai file direct from Vectornator to keep the structure as is? To be clear this is purely shape and path layers - non with any opacity or blend mode changes.
