Vectornator is using significant energy despite not being opened or used in Macbook

Hi guys,

I was using my MacBook Pro Intel 2020 Monterey 12.2.1 as usual until I noticed my laptop’s fan started whizzing, so I checked the battery status in the toolbar and noticed that Vectornator is using significant energy. The weird thing is that the app was not opened at all. I don’t know how to force it to stop. Your advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @thekraffsmen,
maybe there is an active process in background. You should try to check the task manager. Take a look at task-manager-mac - IONOS .
