Sorry if this has been asked already. If I make a group and want to shrink it to the exact same proportions (on a computer that would normally be the shift key) where is that on the ipad? Or more simply if I made a perfect square and wanted to shrink it and keep it perfectly square?

It sounds like the Scale Handle is exactly what you’re looking for!
Simply select your element, grouped objects etc. and tap on the small green circle which should appear in the lower right corner of the bounding box. Hold down on this circle and drag to resize while preserving proportions.
