Lasso Tool ? (as a selection and as a direct selection)

How is everybody doing without lasso (both freeform and polygonal)? especially when working with tons of small shapes or tons of nodes?

And how about the lasso with wand to select massively with just a click and generate automatically a shape that can be used as a mask? Logically it would work across several layers depending on what is or is not visible. Instead of having to use booleans to create a shape or a mask, this tool would create the shape automatically.

Thoughts?

The lasso tool sure would make my life easier when using Vectornator. Please developers, we need the lasso tool.

This problem is made worse by the fact that when you rotate the view on iPad, the rectangular select doesn’t rotate with the view! Some selections now take a whole lot more time because of this.
