Errant letter spacing with text along a path

I use Pixelmator Pro for most of my work. I like the way they do text on path but I must turn them into individual shapes to tweek the letters along the path into reasonable angoles. I tried to replicate that type of text with Vectornator and it looked much better font letter angle wise except for a random (?) errant spacing.

My guess is that you have broken tangents in between “g” and “r” letters. Since your curve looks continuous. Just try pressing and second or third button for that node:

That might solve your problem, but I do agree that the application should not create these extra spaces where broken tangents are.
