COPY & PASTE FROM ONE ART BOARD TO ANOTHER CAUSES CURVE TO FREEZE AND CRASH

Hi,
I was trying to take art work that I had in one art board and paste it to another, granted the art work that I pasted was large, when trying to rescale it down it would freeze and I couldn’t tap anything and it would just crash and close. Tried it multiple times and seemed to happen again. I have attached a video so you can see what im talking about. What is this about?
